Sustainability integrated into every experience
Our contribution to sustainability
The tourism of the future cannot be built on the rules of the past. At Lemon, we understand sustainability not as a label, but as a different way of conceiving the tourist experience, especially in a fragile and valuable territory such as Mallorca.
The new generations of travellers demand authenticity, consistency and a real commitment to the environment they visit. That is why we design our experiences with a focus on responsible and regenerative tourism, where each excursion seeks to minimise impact, respect the rhythms of the territory and highlight its natural and cultural heritage.
Our objective is clear: to contribute to a tourism model that does not exhaust the island, but rather cares for, protects and strengthens it in the long term, ensuring that Mallorca remains a destination of choice for future generations.
Experiences selected with discernment and responsibility
Not all experiences are compatible with responsible tourism. At Lemon, we carefully select each product and each excursion, prioritising those that bring real value to the destination, respect people and align with our social and environmental principles.
We promote hiring based on equality, diversity and respect, both within our teams and in the network of collaborators and suppliers we work with. We believe that sustainability begins with people and is built on fair, transparent and lasting relationships.
Furthermore, we see each excursion as an opportunity to raise awareness. Through our guides, materials and digital channels, we convey to customers and users the importance of caring for the environment, reducing impact and adopting more responsible behaviour during their stay on the island.

Reduce before compensating
The fight against climate change begins with making responsible operational decisions. At Lemon, we prioritise the use of public transport, route optimisation and reducing distances between pick-up points, activities and destinations.
This approach allows us to reduce emissions, ease pressure on local infrastructure and offer a more orderly and efficient experience for customers and residents. Sustainability is not just environmental: it is also logistical, social and territorial.
Since 2021, we have been calculating and offsetting our carbon footprint in all three scopes, following international standards, and implementing continuous reduction measures in transport, consumption and product selection. Only those emissions that we cannot eliminate are offset, always under criteria of rigour, traceability and verification.
This commitment makes Lemon the first carbon-neutral DMC in Europe, integrating climate action as a strategic pillar of its business model.
Give back to the land what it offers us
Offsetting emissions is not a symbolic gesture: it is a responsibility. Lemon is the first tour company to offset its carbon footprint in Mallorca, investing in local projects that generate real environmental and social benefits.
In the Serra de Tramuntana mountains, we finance a regenerative agriculture project on the Son Moragues estate, contributing to soil improvement, carbon capture and the resilience of the Mediterranean landscape. In this way, our company gives back to the island part of what it takes from it.
For our own excursions, we complement this commitment by investing in a United Nations-verified project that promotes energy transition and local employment in a Tibetan region.
In addition, we actively collaborate in social action and environmental education programmes, together with the Joves Navegants Foundation and its Love the Mediterranean project, involving ourselves in the protection of the sea and raising awareness among the younger generations.
