Overview
A full day exploring a peerless natural environment that is made up of a mosaic of different landscapes.
Mondrago Nature Park is one of the natural gems of the island and a protected area of 700 hectares which counts on wild olive and pine forests, orchids and oak groves, dry farming fields, coastal junipers, the sweet pond of s'Amarador, the brackish water of ses Fonts de n'Alis and a spectacular coastline.
There are four hiking itineraries available for walking through different areas of the Mondrago Park, either going into the forest or along the coast - all of them are quite easy and can be completed in less than an hour, even if done with children.
The park also is a Special Protection Area for Birds, so it is common to see turtledoves, kestrels or hoopoes and even peregrine falcons, or black vultures
You will also be able to enjoy the white sand and turquoise waters of Cala Mondrago and S’Amarador beach, both quite close to each other.
Caló des Burgit is also a great option for those who prefer to walk a bit further in exchange for a quieter atmosphere.
